Sunflower cake is obtained as one of the by-products of pressing sunflower seeds during oil production. It consists of the crushed remains of sunflower seeds. Sunflower meal contains from 30% to 40% vegetable protein and from 6% to 15% fat, which allows us to speak of it as one of the best agricultural feed, while the quality of the final product directly depends on the initial quality of the processed sunflower seeds. The quantitative protein content of sunflower meal is superior to almost all fattening products. Sunflower cake, which can be used for feeding cattle, poultry, rabbits, sheep and many other domestic animals, is distinguished by a high concentration of protein, crude fat, fiber and other components.
